I hope you saw ProPublica’s expose of the outcome of USAID cuts. I hope you didn’t look away from the preventable deaths and suffering that the administration chose not to prevent. You cannot claim that we live in a Christian nation and refuse to help the poor or refuse to love thy neighbor. Congress has the power of the purse and should continue funding USAID and should force the administration to do its job and use the funds to help people.
