When I saw the headline yesterday that ICE is acquiring electric shock gloves, I honestly thought it was a satire article from The Onion. It is horrifying that a government agency is justifying this purchase by explaining that they are using pain to induce compliance. I cannot express strongly enough how much I disagree with my tax dollars being used on this manner. Please take action to rein in ICE and its barbaric and inhumane practices.
