Stand Up Now: We Don’t Want Concentration Camp/Or Horrid Treatment of Immigrants
To: Sen. Young, Sen. Banks, Rep. Messmer
From: A verified voter in Mount Vernon, IN
February 11
The ICE detainment camps are a human rights violation — people are disappearing inside of them, being hurt, not taken care of or provided with medical care, and not given adequate environments to live in and legal representation being denied by their attorneys- are all human rights in a civilized society. Loved ones are losing track of detainees because THE SYSTEM CANNOT LOCATE THEM.
The conditions of the detention centers are not being shared with Congress members, which is within Congress members rights and responsibilities of their job. Are you asking to go see the detention centers- if not,you should!
MODERN DAY CONCENTRATION CAMPS IS NOT THE ACCEPTABLE WAY OF FIXING IMMIGRATION IN OUR COUNTRY.
What if the federal government treated your ancestors in this way? These immigrants, just like your ancestors and mine- are coming here for a better life and do not deserve what they are facing now in these horrendous detention centers!
Also what is the federal government doing with these 26+ warehouses?!?? WE DON’T WANT CONCENTRATION CAMPS. This must stop now.
STAND UP AND DO YOU JOB.
