Many congratulations for a successful campaign season. It is important to remember that this is not a mandate for Democrats. It is a mandate for action. The current leadership of the Dem caucus have proven themselves incapable of action. It is time for new leadership. It is time to shore up the foundations of our democracy and reinstate the rule of law. Find leaders who will commit to restoring the checks and balances that are the lifeblood of our government. Or, and I frankly love to say it, y’all are next.
