Amidst the tragedy of Israel’s unlawful war on Gaza, an ongoing case before the ICJ of plausible genocide and warnings that 100% of the Gazan population is experiencing extreme starvation, the House appropriations bill HR.2882 includes defunding the UNRWA, despite Israel’s unsubstantiated allegations. I demand that you submit an amendment to strike all references preventing or restricting funding to the UN and UNRWA. Congress cannot be further complicit in mass atrocities against Gazans.
