You need to act now to reverse the Project 2025 agenda being executed through the Office of Management and Budget. Russell Vought — the co-author of that blueprint — is systematically dismantling the federal government, stripping Congress of its constitutional spending authority, and doing it largely out of the spotlight. This isn't abstract. Last week, $810 million in congressionally approved domestic spending was rescinded by executive fiat, targeting programs for immigrants, refugees, children, and civil rights organizations.
Vought has said openly that he wants federal workers to be "traumatically affected" and that the "precedents and legal paradigms that have wrongly developed over the last 200 years" must be thrown off. That's not a policy disagreement — that's a direct attack on Article I of the Constitution. If the Supreme Court blesses these pocket rescissions, Congress becomes a rubber stamp for presidential spending decisions. That cannot be the outcome.
Push back on Schedule F, restore the rescinded $810 million, and use every legislative tool available to reassert Congress's power of the purse. The window to act before the midterms closes fast, and Vought is counting on inaction.
