Please stop the defense budget boondoggle

Please work to remove harmful provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act and drastically curb the wasteful increases in Pentagon spending. Specifically, at the very least, please oppose expanded U.S.-Israel defense technology integration, funding for boondoggle initiatives like the "Golden Dome" missile shield, a new battleship program, and renaming the Department of Defense the Department of War.
We should reduce military spending significantly, not aim for anything near the bloated $1.5 trillion dollar proposed defense budget. Congress should pass a responsible budget that addresses real security needs and frees up money to pay down the debt and support the needy at home and around the world.
