I am a member of Indivisible Westside Los Angeles. I'm writing today to ask that you start speaking out in favor of impeaching Donald Trump and encouraging your colleagues in the House to start impeachment proceedings. The recent House Judiciary Committee Report details credible allegations of rape against Trump and outlines a concerted Department of Justice cover-up of his involvement with Jeffrey Epstein. As the authors write, “A growing body of evidence demonstrates that Donald Trump was an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of young women during the mid-to-late 1990s. The Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are doing everything they can to keep the American people in the dark about it.” We cannot become numb to the fact that we have a sexual predator in the White House. We must hold Trump and others accountable for their extraordinary abuse and corruption, including recent attempts to undermine the integrity of our elections. I urge you to use your powerful voice to amplify this report and call for Trump’s removal from office. Thank you for your attention.
