Oppose any agreement that rewards Russia's invasion of Ukraine and abandons our democratic allies. Vladimir Putin launched an unprovoked war, seized sovereign territory, and has killed tens of thousands of civilians. Ceding to his demands does not bring peace. It invites the next invasion. The United States has spent decades building alliances that keep Americans safer. Undermining NATO, cutting off aid to Ukraine, or legitimizing Russian territorial gains throws that security away for nothing. I expect my elected officials to stand firm against any policy that hands Putin a victory at Ukraine's expense.
