Congressman Josh Riley and Congressman Greg Landsman have introduced a comprehensive anti-corruption bill. Here’s the 15 reforms on the bill. Let’s see who votes for this and who doesn’t. To me, it’s a slam dunk, right. Who wouldn’t want all this reforms in our government! 1. Bans stock trading for Congress and President 2. Bans Congress and President for participating in predictive markets, and it includes every public official. 3. Prohibits President from suing the federal government. 4. The President can not except bribes or gifts. It strengthens the monuments clause of the Constitution that a president can’t have businesses and make money while he’s president. 5. Term limits for members of Congress and the Supreme Court number. 6. Requires members of Congress to suspend their own pay during a government shut down. 7. Revoke pensions for any Officials, Congress, President, Cabinet Officials, etc., convicted of felonies. 8. Creates ethics rules for the Supreme Court. 9. Prevents the abuse of the presidential pardon, 10. Removes the statue of limitations for crimes commit committed by the president or vice president 11. Overturn Citizens United 12. Prohibits all partisan gerrymandering 13. Prohibits corporate pack money number. 14. Bans dark money 15. Ends voter suppression. See less
