I am a constituent from Sylvania, OH, writing to demand that you oppose ICE operations that function as an occupation of U.S. cities, support defunding ICE, and pursue accountability at the Department of Homeland Security, including impeachment proceedings against Secretary Kristi Noem. Recent killings connected to federal enforcement operations — including the deaths of Renée Good and Alex Pretti — have intensified public concern about the use of force, lack of oversight, and growing militarization of immigration enforcement. These incidents have deepened fear and distrust in communities and underscore the real human cost of unchecked federal power. ICE has a long record of abuses, secrecy, and disregard for civil liberties. Continued funding enables harm while diverting resources from humane, community-based solutions that actually promote safety and stability. I urge you to: Oppose militarized ICE operations in U.S. cities Support defunding or dismantling ICE Demand independent investigations into recent deaths Hold DHS leadership accountable, including through impeachment if warranted I expect my representatives to defend constitutional rights and human dignity.
