We are facing circumstances that will escalate and accelerate in approach to a great cataclysm, upon potentially all of humanity, unless we act now! The federal government is actively developing autonomous lethal weapons systems and AI-powered mass surveillance infrastructure — both designed to operate without meaningful human involvement. I am urging you to act on this immediately. I am asking you to champion legislation with three explicit provisions: First, autonomous lethal weaponry that operates with little to no human involvement must be declared illegal and prohibited — for all government agencies, military contractors, and private entities without exception. Second, an AI-powered mass surveillance state must be explicitly prohibited. No agency shall be permitted to deploy systems that monitor, track, or profile the civilian population without direct congressional authorization, strict judicial oversight, and severe criminal penalties for any violation. Third, failure to comply with either prohibition must carry serious legal consequences — including criminal charges for conspiracy, treason, and obstruction of justice — a deliberate act of war against the constitutional rights of the American people. I want to be clear about something: I do not blame the technology. I blame those who would abuse it. And history has given us no reason to trust that those in power will restrain themselves without being legally forced to do so. This will not change when administrations change. These systems, once built, get inherited. They get expanded. They do not get dismantled. We cannot solve any other issue — not corruption, not elections, not foreign policy — if we have lost the basic liberty that makes solving those problems possible. This is not a partisan issue. This is a human one. The United States has the opportunity to set a global standard. If we fail to draw this line now, we give silent permission to every government on Earth to do the same. Please introduce or co-sponsor legislation that explicitly bans autonomous lethal weapons and AI mass surveillance — with real, criminal consequences for those who violate it.
