I am a law abiding citizen. I am a descendant of Mayflower arrivals and William Floyd, signer of the Declaration of Independence. I've had family in every major American War. I've given two sons to the US armed forces, USAF, US Army. I never imagined masked Federal agents given control over State streets with no accountability and trigger fingers. I believe in law and order. My family has spilt its blood on the belief that we were protecting American freedom, democracy and even the right to free speech. When ICE, a legitimate agency to enact legitimate laws regarding immigration, is transformed into armed thugs who shoot confused motorists and nurses hel ping brutalized protestors it ceases to be legitimate. I'm a student of history. It's the tactics of Mussolini and Hitler. Is this really the US policy you support? Reign it in. Congressman, you alone have the power to do the right thing. Let your supporters know that you actually believe in real law and order that builds trust, not fear.
