A President CANNOT Legally Stop Midterm Elections by Declaring a Nat’l Emergency

To: Sen. Banks, Sen. Young, Rep. Messmer

From: A verified voter in Mount Vernon, IN

August 11

A president cannot legally halt or delay midterm elections by declaring a national emergency. Election dates are established by federal law through Congress, and facilitated at the state level. A national emergency does not grant the president authority over domestic elections or constitutional processes. So what do you plan to do when trump illegally halts or interferes with the upcoming elections? You need to follow The Constitution and stand up against this authoritarian president!!!!
