I am writing to express my disgust and outrage over yet another disturbing revelation about President Trump—this time, that he held a private party where Jeffrey Epstein was the only other guest, surrounded by a crowd of young women whom Trump had reportedly gathered himself.
There is no way to spin this. Epstein was a known pedophile and child trafficker, and Donald Trump chose to not only associate with him, but to personally host him at a private event filled with young women. This isn’t a case of being photographed at a public gala or shaking hands in passing. This was personal, deliberate, and absolutely indefensible.
And yet, President Trump spent years publicly praising Epstein, calling him a "terrific guy" who “likes beautiful women as much as I do, many of them on the younger side.” Those are Trump’s own words. If you support Trump, you are supporting a man who knowingly maintained a close friendship with a child predator.
How dare anyone wrap themselves in the Bible while aligning with someone who enabled and empowered a trafficker of children? How dare any elected official call themselves a Christian while turning a blind eye to this behavior?
Let me be clear: there is nothing Christian about protecting predators. There is nothing Christ-like about praising the rich while ignoring the pain of the abused. And there is certainly nothing moral about continuing to support a man who elevated a monster like Jeffrey Epstein.
If you claim to represent Christian values, if you have even a shred of moral courage, then you will denounce this behavior and call it what it is: vile, predatory, and unacceptable in a leader—especially the President of the United States.
To do anything less is to be complicit in the normalization of evil.
