Demand Hegseth's resignation for jeopardizing national security protocols

To: Rep. Reschenthaler, Sen. Fetterman, Sen. McCormick

From: A verified voter in Crabtree, PA

March 25

The recent revelation that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth shared classified US military strike plans over an unsecured commercial chat application just hours before the operation is utterly unacceptable and represents a massive breach of national security protocols. Discussing highly sensitive operational details in such a casual and irresponsible manner with individuals outside the proper chain of command is grossly negligent conduct unbefitting the nation's top defense official. This incident puts American lives at risk and undermines the integrity of our military operations. Not only did Hegseth demonstrate staggering incompetence in his failure to safeguard classified information, but every other official party to those leaked communications is equally culpable for enabling and participating in such a flagrant violation of security procedures. The potential for this classified data to fall into the wrong hands is precisely why such strict protocols exist. Given the severity of this lapse and the clear inability of Hegseth to properly execute the duties of his office, his resignation must be demanded to restore confidence in the Department of Defense and protect national security interests. This egregious incident warrants a full investigation and accountability for all those involved.
