Elect Strong New Congressional Leaders! Democratic voters deserve leadership that is accountable, effective, independent, transparent, and responsive to constituents. We call on Democratic lawmakers to: • Vote against automatically retaining current party leadership. • Publicly state their positions before debate and leadership elections. • Consider an alternative candidate for Senate and House leadership. • Prioritize demonstrated effectiveness, negotiation skills, strategic leadership, and constituent confidence. • Ensure leadership selections are guided by voters' concerns rather than institutional inertia or major donor influence. Real leaders build victories. They do not simply inherit them, manage them, or claim credit for them afterward. Democratic voters deserve leadership that fights harder, negotiates better, acts sooner, and delivers stronger results.
