Stay strong on demanding ICE reform. When shut downs start causing real pain for their constituents, Democrats always cave. I appreciate that you have empathy, but not this time. Direct your empathy to the people continuing to be traumatized and ruined by ICE. It's imperative that you fight for them first. What's being allowed to happen is not America. If you don't stop it now when you have a tiny bit of leverage, when will you have another chance? Make it be the Republicans who cave for once. Your base will have your back.
