The President of the United States has warned that "a whole civilization will die tonight." That is an unambiguous threat of genocide. This man's extreme rhetoric, threatening crimes against humanity on the international stage, invites escalation from our enemies and sanctions from our allies. Congress is responsible for holding him to account. Representatives must introduce articles of impeachment; there is no alternative now to this clear moral duty. Senators must call upon the House to do this, and must pledge to support removal from office.
