A pick-me attitude almost always reflects a need for inclusion and control. These people tend to wield their words and actions against others in an attempt to attain recognition. They rise higher in their social groups by stepping on the backs and trampling the rights of others.
The growing influence of Stephen Miller over the direction of the American government represents a disturbing departure from the values of decency and pluralism that the United States claims to uphold. His hardline immigration agenda, built on fear and exclusion, has driven policies that divide communities, punish families, and undermine basic principles of fairness and human dignity.
Mr. Miller’s political vision treats vulnerable people as threats rather than human beings. Under his guidance, enforcement-first policies have expanded detention, intensified deportations, and normalized cruelty as a tool of governance. These policies do not make America stronger—they make it harsher, less just, and less faithful to its own ideals.
What is most troubling is the sense that unelected ideological operatives now wield outsized influence over national policy without meaningful accountability. The American government should serve the people with transparency and compassion, not operate as a vehicle for extreme agendas crafted behind closed doors.
Public policy must reflect our highest principles, not our darkest impulses. The American people deserve leadership that values humanity, truth, and justice. The continued prominence of Stephen Miller in shaping national policy signals a moral failure that citizens cannot afford to ignore.
