**Support AB 1900 to Keep Film Production in California** I'm asking you to support AB 1900 to strengthen California's film and television tax incentive program. Productions are leaving the US at an alarming rate, and our entertainment workers are paying the price with lost jobs and shuttered careers. Countries like Hungary and the Czech Republic offer tax incentives that make shooting abroad far cheaper than producing here, even with lower labor costs comparable to 1990s rates. Meanwhile, production companies save millions by avoiding US healthcare costs and union wages. IATSE President Matthew D. Loeb recently highlighted how this exodus is devastating our domestic industry. California built the entertainment industry, but we're losing ground fast. If we don't compete with international incentives, we'll continue hemorrhaging productions and the thousands of jobs they support. AB 1900 gives us the tools to bring that work back home and keep skilled workers employed here instead of watching their livelihoods disappear overseas.
