I’m writing to urge you to oppose HR1, the budget reconciliation bill, and its harmful cuts to vital government programs. Specifically, I’m concerned about the sale of millions of acres of public land, the unconstitutional limitations on the courts, and the massive financial funding cuts to programs that help the most vulnerable of our citizens. Congress should pass a fair and responsible budget that helps our communities, not one that slashes our benefits to fund tax cuts for the wealthy.
