ELECTION INTERFERENCE IS A FEDERAL CRIME: DEMAND CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATION AND PROSECUTION I am writing to demand that you publicly condemn coordinated efforts to suppress votes, intimidate voters, and rig elections. These actions violate federal law, the Constitution, and democratic principles. You must investigate and prosecute. Do it now. THE CRIMES: •       Michigan—Voter Intimidation (18 U.S.C. § 594): Mike Rogers, GOP Senate candidate, was recorded telling activists to send armed off-duty police to Detroit polling places and "open your jacket and show the badge" at Black voters. Federal law criminalizes using force, threats, or intimidation to interfere with voting. Rogers remains free and campaigning. He should be arrested within 7 days. •       Louisiana—Election Subversion: Governor Landry suspended elections already underway to benefit Republicans. 42,000 ballots cast. All discarded. He rewrote maps to eliminate Black-majority districts. This violates the Voting Rights Act (42 U.S.C. § 1973) and the Constitution's guarantee of equal protection. The state must restore the suspended ballots. Landry must resign or be removed. •       Florida—Partisan Gerrymandering: DeSantis signed a 24-4 map that state law explicitly forbids. Florida's Fair Districts Amendment (approved by voters in 2010) bans partisan gerrymandering. His staff admits using partisan data. He violated his oath and state law. The map must be struck down and replaced. •       White House Coordination: Trump publicly thanked Landry for suspending elections. Trump pressured governors in Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi to gerrymander. This is presidential coordination with state officials to rig elections. It is a betrayal of the presidential oath to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution." WHAT YOU MUST DO: •       PUBLIC DENUNCIATION (Joint Resolution): Support a joint resolution declaring that election suppression, voter intimidation, and state-level election subversion are incompatible with democracy and will not be tolerated. This must be bipartisan and immediate. •       CRIMINAL REFERRAL (House Judiciary): Support referral of Mike Rogers to DOJ within 7 days for violating 18 U.S.C. § 594 (voter intimidation). Support referral of Governor Landry for violating 42 U.S.C. § 1973c (Voting Rights Act) and conspiracy. Demand DOJ investigation of White House coordination with state governors. •       FORMAL INVESTIGATION (Select Committee): Support creation of a bipartisan select committee to investigate: (1) Whether states violated federal voting rights law by suspending elections or changing maps to suppress minority voting power; (2) Whether Trump White House coordinated election interference; (3) Whether coordinated voter intimidation schemes exist. Demand subpoenas to Trump, Landry, DeSantis, and all relevant staff. •       EMERGENCY LEGISLATION: Co-sponsor the "Election Protection and Voting Rights Act" containing: (a) Federal prohibition on suspending elections already underway; (b) Federal standards for redistricting transparency and timeline; (c) Federal penalties (fines and prison) for voter intimidation under color of law; (d) Federal mandate restoring any suspended elections and ballots; (e) Federal protection of election workers from intimidation; (f) Requirements that redistricting maps show clear partisan intent to be eligible for federal challenge. WHY THIS MATTERS: My vote is only meaningful if elections are fair. If you can suspend elections when it benefits your party, my vote is theater. If police intimidate voters at the polls, my vote is suppressed. If maps are redrawn to pick the voters instead of voters picking officials, my vote is worthless. Elections are the only check on power we have left. If Congress does nothing, we have accepted authoritarianism. The party in power will suspend elections. Rewrite maps. Jail opponents. This is not exaggeration. This is what happens when election interference goes unpunished. You must choose: democracy or power. I am watching. I will remember your choice. I will vote accordingly.
