The news continues to baffle and astound everyday Americans. I write with a plea to support bipartisan legislation like the Trade Review Act of 2025 to reclaim Congress’s authority over US trade policy and block Trump’s destructive and nonsensical tariffs. These tariffs are a multitrillion dollar tax increase on Americans and are already wreaking havoc on our economy. These tariffs must be stopped before things get worse. Over the weekend, 5.2 million people took to the streets to show their opposition to the Trump Administration. The protests were peaceful, and will likely continue until we see a change in course. We will not stand for our country being slowly dismantled by a man that seemingly only wishes to enrich himself through the office of the President. Thank you for your time and attention.
