Explain to me how paragraphs 3-4 of HB7 around women's healthcare aren't yet another attempt to control women's bodies and behavior? I don't need my healthcare to address my "spiritual wellness" aka tell me what to believe or discriminate based on my beliefs. And I certainly disagree with any need for women's healthcare to "address the needs of men, families or communities" . Men's needs are already well addressed by the existing healthcare system that was already built by and for them. This could be interpreted as needing a male's consent for care. There's also language around "only life affirming care" which could allow for religious infringement on care. This is not the 1950s or the 1800s. Women are not men's property and we are completely capable of making informed choices around our own healthcare concerns. Stop writing purposefully vague legislation aimed at depriving us of our rights and our bodily autonomy.
