Reject Todd Blanche's nomination for Attorney General. His loyalty is to Donald Trump personally, not to the Constitution or the American public, and that disqualifies him from leading the Justice Department.
Blanche spent years as Trump's personal criminal defense attorney before being handed the Acting AG role. He praised Trump's mass pardons of January 6 defendants, helped create the $1.8 billion "Anti-Weaponization Fund" to reward Trump's political allies, and made an unorthodox trip to meet with convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, who reportedly received limited immunity in the process. Former prosecutors and legal scholars have warned he will use DOJ as a tool for political retaliation against Trump's perceived enemies. The Attorney General must serve the rule of law, not function as the president's personal attorney with prosecutorial power.
Vote no on this nomination.
