Hold the Line on Budget, Swear in Grijalva and Impeach Trump

November 5

Hi, I’m a member of Indivisible Westside Los Angeles. Thank you for your continued support of programs vital to the health and safety of our nation, such as SNAP and the ACA. Please continue to hold out for full funding of SNAP and extension of ACA tax credits as a condition for supporting any CR or budget bill. May Tuesday’s election results give you the courage to do what’s right and stand up for Americans, and against tyranny. Additionally, I ask that you loudly sound the alarm about the fact that more than 800k of our fellow Americans in Arizona are without congressional representation because GOP Speaker Johnson is refusing to swear in Democratic Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva. When Mitch McConnell denied Merrick Garland a hearing, and Democrats did nothing, it set a horrible precedent of lawlessness and norm-busting that is rearing its ugly head today. This is a crisis of democracy and you should treat it as such. Speaking of which, you must publicly support impeaching Donald Trump, the most corrupt and incompetent president in American history. While we don’t have the votes at the moment, we’ll never get there without an organized impeachment movement. Let’s go! Thank you for your time and hard work.
