Trump is now weaponizing the Department of Justice (DOJ) to suppress progressive fundraising efforts by demanding the DOJ open an investigation into ActBlue’s operations. Not only is this an attack on the DOJ’s independence, it is a brazen attempt to kneecap his political rivals. Trump’s baseless claims against ActBlue are based on unreliable sources such as Elon Musk, who has continually criticized the company. This assault on ActBlue is a direct attempt to silence Trump’s ideological opposition. I urge you to speak out against Trump’s weaponization of the DOJ and demand he ends his unfounded attack on his ideological rivals.
