Fetterman, Democrats Lost Due to Widespread Dissatisfaction, Not Muslim Voters !
To: Sen. Fetterman
From: A constituent in Feasterville Trevose, PA
November 12
The Democrats didn't lose this election because of Muslim voters—they lost because of widespread dissatisfaction among Americans from all walks of life. The truth is, they were defeated in every swing state, losing large swathes of Hispanic/Latino voters—a much larger demographic than Arab and Muslim communities. But instead of taking responsibility, they blame the one minority they've consistently marginalized.
Let's be clear: it wasn't just about broken promises. The Democratic Party was actively greenlighting a genocide and ethnic cleansing campaign against the Palestinian people, funded with our tax dollars. Many of us voted with our conscience because you and your party refused to listen to your constituents on critical issues, both at home and abroad.
Senator John Fetterman's recent comments are a prime example of this disconnect. Dearborn's Mayor Abdullah Hammoud slammed him for suggesting that Dearborn residents would "love the next Muslim ban," pointing out that Fetterman has done more for Israel than for the people of Pennsylvania.
Instead of scapegoating marginalized communities, it's time for Democrats to face the real reasons behind their loss.

As a constituent, I urge you, Senator Fetterman, to take immediate and meaningful action in support of human rights and justice for Palestinians. Use your position to call for an immediate ceasefire, end U.S. military aid that enables Israel's ongoing assault, and advocate for lifting the blockade on Gaza. At the same time, we need you to address the pressing issues here at home, like affordable healthcare, housing, and economic relief for struggling families. Stand with your constituents who demand an end to using our tax dollars to fund a genocide and ethnic cleansing campaign abroad, while so many of us face hardship here in Pennsylvania. We need a leader who champions policies that promote peace, equity, and justice both internationally and in our own communities.
