I am writing to ask you a direct and serious question: why are you willing to let this country erode just to align yourself with a man whose behavior and rhetoric are unfit for any position of power? Your continued support and silence signal complicity. At a time when leadership, integrity, and accountability are desperately needed, you have chosen political convenience over the people you were elected to represent. Let me be clear, this is not going unnoticed. The American people are watching, and many of us are documenting exactly where our elected officials stand in this moment. History will not look kindly on those who enabled the decline of democratic norms for personal or partisan gain. You were elected to serve your constituents, not to shield or appease dangerous leadership. By failing to stand up, you are effectively selling out the very people who trusted you with this office. I will not forget this. And neither will many others. You will be held accountable at the ballot box.
