It's not me, it's you.
You keep telling me you’re "pro-family," but when I needed you most—when the baby was born and the bills were piling up—you were nowhere to be found.
This Valentine’s Day, I’m writing to let you know that as a mom and constituent, I’m breaking up with your lack of support for families.
You often speak about the importance of family values — and I believe family should be at the center of our policies and priorities. What have you done to help people put food on the table with prices sky high? How have you helped to stop ICE from tearing families a part? Where were you when the battle for healthcare was going on?
I’m tired of being the only person in this relationship doing the "work-life balance" dance alone. I’m moving on to someone else that actually cares about family values.
