Hello, I'm a lifelong resident of Illinois and I am very proud of my state and all we have accomplished. I believe it's one of the best states in the country to live. Firstly, I would like to thank you for the amazing job you have been doing as governor. I feel very fortunate to have a governor for the people, especially in this era of politics. That being said, I am sure that you know the threat of national democracy that is taking place federally. I am urging you to continue to file legal challenges, refuse cooperation, and block federal overreach including even sending the National Guard and calling on local law enforcement to protect people from illegal immigration raids. There are still many safeguards against a dictatorship and I'm urging all of my elected officials to use everything in their power to prevent a fascist takeover of the United States Government. Thank you for your time, and for your work for our great state.
