To: President Donald J. Trump and Members of the United States Congress President Trump and all of Congress, If we’re going to base presidential eligibility on soil, we might as well base it on weight, eye color, hair color, skin color, anything. It’s all just as arbitrary. We’re all made from the same earth, so using dirt as the line makes no sense. I don’t think you even understood what the founders meant. People like my cousin, adopted as a baby from abroad, raised here her whole life, productive, law-abiding, can’t run, while folks born here can be corrupt and unfit. Base it on character and commitment, not dirt. Or realize God made dirt and dirt don't hurt cause we're all made from dirt. 1 for all all for 1
