I'm sure you're receiving a lot of feedback around this and I'm happy to add to the pile. What is happening in Minnesota right now is disgusting. TWO American citizens have been MURDERED. ICE/CPB are being used as a private military force against US citizens. This CANNOT continue. Forget party loyalty. You are really, truly telling me this is something that makes you feel safe? That makes you feel like your family is safe? Everyone feels unsafe right now and it's not because of 'the immigrants' it's because there is an overpaid, undertrained, brainwashed brute squad that has been let out into our country that can act with impunity to dispense punishment however they see fit, laws and due process be damned. There is no justice. There is no recourse against them. We are at a point where YOU can do something. It is your responsibility to DO something. If you choose your party over the citizens and country you say you serve you are just as bad if not worse than they are. Open up a history book to 1937 Germany. See if you notice any similarities. Read on. See how that turned out. So many people are trying to do something, trying to help, but you in particular, along with your colleagues, are able to do more with your power than the average citizen. We need you to do something. This is that moment you read about in school where you thought 'why didn't anyone do anything? I would have done something.'. So do something. Convince others to do something. Please. Help us. I know I'll get the response 'thank you for your strongly worded feedback' which I just take to mean you didn't read what I sent. But if you do read this, I hope it at least made you think, I hope you look at this from the standpoint of a person. Not a Republican, or someone who supports trump. And really consider what you would want someone in your place to do.
