Hold Marjorie Taylor Greene accountable for unconstitutional and illegal actions

I urge you to begin impeachment or expulsion proceedings against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. Her repeated calls in the last few years Including this week for a “national divorce” and her pattern of secessionist rhetoric are unconstitutional, reckless, and incompatible with her oath of office.
Every Member of Congress swears to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States” (Article VI, Clause 3). Yet Rep. Greene openly promotes breaking apart the Union.
The Supreme Court, in Texas v. White (1869), made clear that states cannot lawfully secede and that the Union. Her advocacy is therefore not protected political debate but a call for unconstitutional disunion.
The last time secession was pursued, it led directly to the Civil War — the bloodiest conflict in our nation’s history. To ignore these echoes today risks inviting similar division and violence.
Article I, Section 5 empowers Congress to discipline or expel members for misconduct, and Article II, Section 4 provides for impeachment for “high crimes and misdemeanors.” Rep. Greene’s conduct meets this standard by betraying her oath and endangering the Republic.
For the stability of our democracy and to prevent history from repeating itself, I urge you to hold Rep. Greene accountable and act to remove her from office.
