The CATO Institute (article 24 November 2025) obtained deportation information from DHS. In this information, there is proof that your administration is NOT deporting the “worst of the worst.” Of the people booked into ICE custody this fiscal year (since October 1, 2025): • Nearly three in four (73 percent) had NO criminal conviction. • Nearly half had no criminal conviction nor even any pending criminal charges. • Only 8% had a violent or property criminal conviction. • Only 5% had a violent criminal conviction. The earliest data obtained by CATO came from April 26, 2025. Compared with October 2024 to April 2025; 80% of the increase in daily ICE book-ins have come from individuals without criminal convictions. It is a lie that this administration and the money you approved for DHS is removing criminals from this country. It’s a LIE. Since 1 Jan 2026, the number of arrests of individuals without criminal records has grown 1,500%. This is a HUGE waste of money and btw, is making people hate you and this entire immigration policy – look at the polls. When are you going to FORCE DHS/ICE refocus ONLY on those who are the “worst of worst” – which is what you SAID was going to happen? I want an answer.
