Thank you for your public stance opposing ICE actions and further funding for DHS. As an Arizona resident I'm proud to have voted for you. This is a hot button issue and is getting a lot of attention. It's important. What's also important is the future. I would like to know what you are doing to challenge the complacent Democratic Party stay quo. The platform seems to be "as long as we don't have an R next to our names, they'll vote for us." Which is so sadly true, and also not enough. I would also like to know what you are doing to remind your Republican colleagues of their responsibility to the Constitution. What are you doing to pers uade them to take a stand? I am heartsick and feel hopeless. I want things to change, because what Democrats have been doing isn't making lasting change. Please keep fighting.
