We the people, write to you today on behalf of: - Progressive Democrats of America & Fourteenth Now - President Jimmy Carter and all 45 Presidents - The Founding Fathers And all the free people of American. Your people. The Great Melting Pot that defines and keeps us all.  We respectfully demand that you object to the certification of Donald Trump's electoral votes, based on the 14th Amendment, Section 3 on January 6th. Four years from the very day he lead an insurrection against our Capitol and rule of law. You all were there. You remember how it felt to be afraid, to see our sacred seat of law attacked and defiled. That is exactly how WE feel now.  As elected members of Congress, you all swore an oath to uphold the Constitution before God and country. You SWORE to protect US from all threats foreign AND domestic. You work for us, and are both honor bound and LEGALLY obligated to uphold that oath of office.  Failure to adhere to the self-executing provisions of Section 3 constitutes a violation of that sacred duty, and the end of 248 years of our Constitution's inviolability.  The January 6th Committee's Report and multiple legal findings conclude that Trump played a central role in inciting and encouraging the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. Fours ago from this most important day.  Trump is constitutionally disqualified from holding office under the 14th Amendment due to his deliberate orchestration of an insurrection aimed at obstructing the peaceful transfer of power on January 6, 2021.
