With the ruling by the Virginia Supreme court against the recent redistricting efforts that were voted and approved by the will of the people, I ask as your constituent that you call a special session to vote for and approve the 10-1 maps for the midterm elections. Republicans in states like Tennessee, Alabama, and Louisiana are currently holding sessions to redistrict without the backing of the people, with no public voting. We should not allow a technicality on some process issue upend our fight back against this partisan nonsense. Given the US Supreme courts recent ruling, anything is fair game. We the people of Virginia have already given you our blessing to redistrict for the midterms. Please use whatever means you have available to get it done. We need a national response to this national problem, and it needs to start in Virginia. Thank you.
