Deportation for treatment of Ebola is a disasterous policy

I want to weight in on the Administrations approach to the Ebola outbreak. The Times is reporting that they are choosing to deport those suffering with the illness out of the USA for treatment. To Kenya or other nations of the administrations choose. This is a disastrous policy which will result in US citizens not seeking help for the potential pandemic to come. It also takes the CDC , NIH out of making recommendations and our best science out of seeking cures. We need to be preparing and being ready. PPE, social distancing, and research on vaccines. Advanced teams of scientists working with African Nations to help contain the outbreak and do research on cures. Congress needs to act to insist on a logical approach. Mass deportation of ill patients is not a strategy that will work. It will spread the disease because people do not want forced deportation because they are ill. When COVID started I was working in a nursing home which got the infection early. The Nursing home was given the resources to form isolation wards. 25% of our residents died. We helped hundreds recover and go home. We had the PPE that we needed and through testing and effective treatment protocols no staff died although some did get COVID and recovered. This can be done correctly. Congress must act to make sure this happens.
