Our wildlife needs investment, so I’m writing to ask you to Vote YES and push for passage of the Recovering America's Wildlife Act. Ut’s not widely known, but over a third of America's fish and wildlife species are at risk of extinction, and more than 12,000 species need conservation help beyond those already listed under the Endangered Species Act. RAWA would deliver $1.397 billion to state and tribal agencies to act now, before species reach crisis point — which is far cheaper than emergency ESA intervention later. Why invest in nature? The economic case is just as strong as the conservation case. Americans spend $140 billion annually on wildlife-related recreation, and RAWA could generate up to 33,600 jobs per year in construction, forestry, and habitat restoration. State agencies have already proven they can deliver results because they are closest to the problem that wildlife face. Success stories include the famous - bald eagles, peregrine falcons, and striped bass - and many others less well known. They were all brought back from the brink through exactly this kind of targeted, on-the-ground work. Give them the resources to do it again, at the scale this crisis demands. Thank you.
