Reject plan to cut veterans' disability benefits
Cutting disability pay for military veterans is an unacceptable proposal that would betray our nation's commitment to those who have sacrificed for our freedoms. Project 2025 seeks to end disability compensation payments to veterans already receiving military retirement pay, essentially punishing them for their service-related injuries and disabilities.
This callous plan fails to recognize the immense sacrifices made by our brave service members, many of whom carry lifelong burdens from their time in uniform. We have a solemn obligation to support and care for our veterans, especially those dealing with disabling conditions directly tied to their military service. Stripping away their hard-earned disability benefits would be a grave injustice and an insult to their selfless dedication.
Our veterans deserve better than to have the benefits they rely on ripped away by shortsighted policies driven by accounting maneuvers rather than a true appreciation for their valor. I urge you to firmly reject any efforts to end or reduce disability compensation for our nation's veterans. They have given so much to protect our freedoms, and we must honor their immense sacrifices by ensuring they receive the full support and care they have earned through their honorable service. We cannot turn our backs on those who have borne the tremendous costs of defending our country.
Preserving disability pay for veterans must be a paramount priority. Do you have the courage to stand up to Trump and his Project 2025 or will you betray our nation’s veterans. The choice is yours.
