Senior ICE officials themselves are pointing the finger at Trump's arrest quotas, warning that officers "pushed to the breaking point" are being forced into fatal confrontations. That is not a defense — it is a confession. An agency whose own leadership admits it is killing civilians due to political pressure has lost all legitimacy. Every day Congress delays is another day this continues. Abolish ICE, investigate the agents involved in these shootings, and hold accountable everyone up the chain of command who created the conditions for these deaths.
