If they cannot provide credible answers, they must be removed. •       Protect whistleblowers who come forward to report political pressure within the FBI. These brave law enforcement professionals deserve legal protection and congressional support. The American people did not grant law enforcement agencies the power to choose political winners and losers. We gave them authority to protect public safety and prosecute genuine crimes—equally, fairly, and without regard for party affiliation. The FBI has violated that trust.
