Publish the ERA before Trump takes office!

You championed women's rights throughout your campaign- and women still need you. The ERA was ratified by the states over 4 years ago, under the Trump administration. Of course, his administration stalled and equivocated to refuse to publish the Amendment. But the Biden administration also didn't act- I assume out of an abundance of caution, hoping Congress would do the right thing and remove the unconstitu tional time limit proactively from the enabling legislation. Now we're reeling from a huge blow to women's rights- so many of us had dreams that you would win, and usher in a new age of equality. In this new reality, we are out of time to wait for our rights. The Executive Branch has the power and the duty to publish the 28th Amendment, the Equal Rights Amendment, now. Your administration can leave a huge mark on history, and give women constitutional protection from government overreach into our lives and bodies, by pu blishing the ERA. Please, do it now! We cannot afford to wait for a better time. The American Bar Association has issued an opinion affirming that the ERA has met all requirements to be published. If you want to champion women, publication before the end of your term is the only option. Please, instruct the Archivist or pressure President Biden to instruct the Archivist to publish the ERA. Thank you.
