I appreciate your service and your willingness to speak clearly when fundamental democratic principles are at stake. I am writing to urge you to continue advocating for constitutional accountability and to speak forcefully about concerns regarding President Trump's fitness for office. The Constitution provides mechanisms to protect the nation when serious questions arise about a president's ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the office, and those mechanisms should never be treated as off-limits because of politics. I hope you will continue using your platform to defend democratic institutions, equal justice under the law, and the rights and dignity of all Americans.
