I am writing to urge you to oppose any further funding for DHS unless and until significant reforms are enacted. Current policies and practices raise serious concerns about accountability, transparency, and the protection of civil and human rights. Taxpayer dollars should not support agencies that operate without meaningful oversight or that fail to uphold the values and laws they are meant to protect. I respectfully ask that you use your authority to block or condition DHS funding until major, concrete changes are made. Thank you for representing the interests and concerns of your constituents.
