Happy Sexual Assault Awareness Month. One in five women experience a rape or attempted rape in their lifetime.  The lifetime cost of experiencing a rape is over $122K. This is no time for RFK and the Department of Health and Human Services to cut the staff working on sexual violence prevention. The cuts also do not make sense as they are mandated by the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), legislation that was approved by Congress with bipartisan support.  Do your job and tell the President to stop undoing the work of Congress.
