Save the Medicare Part D Subsidies! I just saw reports that Trump plans to eliminate the subsidies for Medicare Part D. This will be catastrophic for the senior citizens of this country who are already struggling to pay for their medications and groceries. Eliminating those subsidies will result in chronic illnesses going untreated, causing many deaths. I am always shocked by the callousness of the party claiming to be "PRO-LIFE" when it comes to the poor and elderly of this country. Permanent tax breaks for the richest citizens (and your wealthy donors,) on the backs of the poor who may get some temporary benefit. Of course, your healthcare is paid for, so what do you care? Subsidies for oil companies, farmers, and big corporations won’t get touched, but to hell with the sick and elderly. Don’t forget, the AARP has a huge reach, and you will be cutting off the people who actually get out and vote but I'm sure it will be fine.
