End the war in Iran. This conflict has no congressional authorization, it is illegal, and my family is paying for it every single day at the pump. Gas is up 41% since the fighting started — $4.22 a gallon for regular, $5.94 for diesel. Those diesel prices don't stay at the pump; they show up in my grocery bill, my furniture, everything I buy. This war triggered the largest oil supply disruption on record. The near-closure of the Strait of Hormuz alone cut off one-fifth of global crude supply. Six months of on-again, off-again strikes have accomplished nothing except enriching oil companies and squeezing working families. Congress has the power to end this. Use it.
